was this shot recently? so is the bozeman area is rideable in the winter? I figured it would all be snow covered. Looks good but it would be way better if you put your handlebars in the frame for "point of reference"
This was shot around this time last winter and conditions can be like this (in this particular zone) most all winter long. I'll see if I can get some folks who've been riding there for years to comment a bit more.
Thisguy: Pipestone is generally ridable all winter long. There is a facebook group for MTB at Pipestone MT with relatively regular updates on Pipestone conditions, as well as http://montanamountainbike.ning.com/
